The Canon Powershot G10

My brother bought the Canon Powershot G10 few months ago, but I never really tried using it until today. What I can say is, it's great. DSLR in your POCKET. Well maybe not pocket, but its smaller than a DSLR and it's pic has DSLR qualities. Recommended for people who's searching for a semi-pro camera. Will share some of the pictures taken , here.

IU Day.

International Understanding Day, in short the IU day was held on May 9th 2009 by Interact Club of my school. Well IU day is a day where people get to understand one country's culture and everything. The theme this year is Japan. We all know Japan is a great country, great food, great people, great clothes, great technology. I just remembered I havent posted this up haha

It means Japan's Lifestyle, I bet everyone knows that. For me, I won't migrate to Japan going there is like finding grim reaper. Cost of living too high, but I would love to travel there.

Chien Ming. Famous blogger, the OC of the day and the emcee of the day. The day was kinda good except for the inactiveness of people from the other school. Bah, everyone likes to pose with that pinkish thing.

After hanging around, we went for trishaw ride. To be honest, this is my first time taking a trishaw. Feels good , hot and weird at the same time. Lots of people in the car looking at you whenever they pass. Hey, this is heritage! :)

I find this trishaw ride very interesting, again this is my first time taking a trishaw ride. Although its hot but I still enjoy it. I think trishaws will "extinct" very soon. I find that most trishaw cyclist are oldies,none youngsters. If you ask to me cycle trishaw, I would say no too haha.

Haagen Dazs- Happy Birthday

Kenny, Victor , Chin Keong and Me went to Haagen Dazs after IU Day function organized by Interact Club of Chung Ling High School. Actually planned not go out on that day, but since Kenny said he's paying for the bill, I might as well go . Thank you Kenny! As always.

The day before we had Haagen Dazs which is 8th of May is also my friend Chin Keong's birthday. This is also somewhat a celebration for him. Once again, I say Happy Belated Birthday to you my friend.

These are just some random shots while waiting for the ice-cream to be served. Well, Chin Keong and Victor shared while Kenny and Me shared. I guess those 2 plates of ice-cream burned a hole in Kenny's pocket. Nevertheless, he never whined , he's good.

Theirs, I forgot what its called. So i might as well just skip the naming part.

And ours. One suggestion, never order the Mango Sorbet, yeah the yellow one over there. Holy shit, trust me choose others. The mango is too strong, unless youre a mango fanatic then I have nothing else to say.

I would like to say goodbye to my trainee teacher Ms. Tang. She's a good teacher, and she left last Thursday. The blue one is a bookmark she made for everyone in my class, perhaps other class too. I can see she had put lots of effort in it. Oh and, thanks for the dentyne, and also the cadbury, biscuits on the other day.Last, Good luck to you in becoming a real teacher, Teacher!
Now, my add maths teacher will take over the maths period. Furthermore, theres 2 maths period continously, double sleeping period.

Five colours in 1 highlighter by FedEx. Nice isnt it? This is something I've never seen before. One thing bad about it, its so big I cannot put it into my pencil box.

The pen that we've won. Kinda weird on the design, have no idea how to use it on first touch. It has light on it, but it runs on battery and I dont think its recharge-able.

FedEx International Trade Challenge

Went to Wawasan Open University, WOU in short for FedEx International Trade Challenge on Tuesday. Wow, WOU is huge,beautiful , not to mention its high technology where you need touch n go passes to go for toilet.

It has nice views too. I want to go to a school like that. I was kinda surprised when I went saw the beach there. Never knew Penang has beaches as beautiful as that. Well, job well done to whoever that takes care of the beach.

Anyway, our school won 1st surprisingly in the presentation, and I have seriously no idea why we won 1st cause our school got the most "complaints" . Remaining silent is a good thing after all?

Cheap Stuffs Around Komtar.

When you want to buy raw materials/hardwares where do you go? Nope, not malls like Gurney , Prangin, Queensbay etc. You go to areas around Komtar! The stuffs there are really cheap, you can get as low as 50% cheaper than those you find in the malls.

So we were walking down along the roads in Komtar searching for raw materials for our YE products. Chowrasta market is one of the place where you can find cheap stuffs. But the market is kinda dead that day, maybe because it's weekday. Try going to the Sunday Market there.

And so I took this pic out of randomness when we're walking towards the famous Komtar tower. Cars cars and cars.

And of course the famous mirror in the bridge to Komtar. Every bloggers / photographer/ blog enthusiasts take pic of this mirror when they walk pass. As seen in nickchan.net

"Ding ding dang dang" dolls. Komtar is dead too, no proper management bla bla. I feel like I'm walking into den of thieves whenever I walk inside Komtar. So dark, nobody's around. The only place I go in Komtar is the KFC.

And then this shop. The shop that has practically anything inside . The stuffs are quite old but who cares? It's cheap and it's still usable. Theres Wigs, cosmetic bottles, etc. Its kinda unbelievable to see this old shop surviving in Komtar. Oh and the name Jewellery? The shop has got nothing to do with jewelleries.

Everything inside is Buy 1 Free 1, stuffs ranging from household items to decoratives. You can even find plants inside the shop. If you want to buy bottle for paper star, try this shop. Cheap.

LEAD Programme.

Went to this LEAD programme by PSDC on 21st of April, Tuesday( Yesterday), which actually means Leadership, Enhancement And Development Programme. This programme is basically for teambuilding, for our YE.

I took this out of boredom in bus. The trip is really kinda boring, traffic jam everywhere. It was raining, and the bus' aircond is freezing. Good thing Im not dead yet.

Welcome us to PSDC, and the host for the day.

Part of the members, we only get to play indoor games. Damn, I bet outdoor games will be better, alot. Ice breaking session first as usual, we were called to say lots of stuffs to our friends

One of / the last of the activities was building a bridge with straws. We were then asked to present our beautiful/or not bridges to everyone. Presentation is where flaming starts all the time. I think its pretty good though, flaming helps us in a way.

Mark and Yi Zhang. Good job Yi Zhang, pro presenter! Should be a great salesman! Best presenters for the day in my opinion.

I went to Khoo Kongsi again last thursday. I paid RM1 for the entrance fee, damn why do we have to pay? No, I didnt go there on purpose. I was in Chulia Street so I just walked in see see only. Penang National Park.

It was still very early in the morning when we reached the National Park. Thanks Merritt's parents for fetching us there. For your info, the national park is located at the end of Teluk Bahang where you can go no further without a ship/boat. And is the smallest National Park in Malaysia.

We took the route to Monkey Beach. Yes we did reach Monkey Beach , and we continued walking thought that we can see the lighthouse. But end up we reached Pantai Kerachut instead, and on the way there I dont see no lighthouse.

Along the way, theres stairs and bridges , and they are nice. Real Nice. The stairs are a good sign to us to show us we're on the right track

And then theres this Rocky place, full of tide pools. When there's tide pools theres crabs, lots of them. The barnacles are really disgusting, they give me the creeps , I dont like them.

The USM research centre. This is where the USM students do research on Marine lifes.

And this thing over here, we first thought it was a normal shell with nothing inside. But poking it with an umbrella, it moved. Its a hermit crab. I've never seen a hermit crab on Penang's beaches. This is my first time.

The meromictic lake in Pantai Kerachut, this is where the lake water and the sea water meet each other . This lake kinda stink and it looks brownish. I wonder do those people who camp here pee and poo here?

This is what we basically do in Pantai Kerachut, we relax . Sleeping on the hammock by the beach is great. We stayed there for about an hour and then we took boat back, couldnt walk for another 2 hours.

YouthCadet(KRS) Campfire.

Last night was our school's YouthCadet campfire. Went there for fun and photoshooting. I was supposedly to hang around with TeikHua, after then I realised Nicholas and MinXiang are there as well, so I joined them in photoshooting. It was raining all night for the campfire,bad luck.

The whole event starts at 4, but I went at 7. I guess I missed a few things . Our school's KadetPertahananAwam band was performing when I reached. Its fun to be in a band. I want my own band.

I then went on to shoot my friends. This is Genyong, potentially young blogger. Visit his blog here.

Chin Can and Teik Hua. And Wah Loon's blue shirt that smells like Pudge's Rot.

And then there's Free Dance session. Every campfire has free dance session. I think free dance is the most high part of campfire. And as usual, Scouts are most crazy. "Shake until leg pain" is what i get from Teik Hua for the free dance. And then I went walking all over the school and shoot.

Leo Idol 2009

Leo Idol is held annually. Leos who want to be an idol join this, basically its a singing competition just like American Idol but this one is for Leos only. This year's Leo Idol is at Komtar Auditorium, not really a well known place in my opinion, I actually wasted 20 minutes walking around Komtar looking for the Auditorium.

Mark, Chin Keong, and Victor. I went with them. And then inside, I saw lots of friend. Chien Ming is one of them. What are you doing Chien Ming? It looks like you wanted to scold the eff word.

The OC for LeoIdol2009 and the host for the night. Leo Royblin Neoh. He's the President of Leo Club of Penang City too. Good host, better than me alot. I suck during LeoClub of CLHS' Anniversary. Stage fear *sigh

The contestants for the competition. For your info theres 11 of them not only 3. My photos sucked. Mainly because of not having a external flash and a zoom lens. Gotta work hard in saving money right now to buy new toys for my camera.

The 11 contestants on the stage to be judged one last time and to know who goes home.

The top 3 finalists for Penang. They will be sent to KL for another competition which is the district competition. Top 2 will be going to the Leo Forum which is in Penang this year for free! Introducing FrozenCup- Ice Cream! Chocolate lovers will love this! Probably the best ice-cream in the world. Okay, cut the crap . Actually this is not an Ice-Cream, its Ice-cream note. Apparently, the cup really looks like an icecream cup but inside it are lots of lots of round, small papers. Nicholas gave it to me as birthday present last year.

I kept it inside the drawer for many many weeks and months until today I did something really weird with it. Yes, that's right I used it as a reminder to myself. I kinda stucked it on the monitor. Hoho, I will be seeing it everyday cause you know. I wont go offline for a day. Oh, thanks for viewing my blog!

The first term test of this year 2009, is coming soon. One of my new year resolution this year was to get better grades than last year. The only year that I'm satisfied with my grades was Form 1, after that constant high and lows. Sometimes good sometimes bad.

My test is on the 4 days before March's school holidays, starting from 10th of March till 13th. Bio on the first day , argh! I don't really like subjects that need lots of memorising. I prefer those that we need to tweak our brain more. Maths for an example.

So are you prepared for the test? if you ask me, I want to start preparing but I can tell you Im still not in the study mood. May the force be with you, good luck with my,your,their,his,her test.

Did you guys know, theres eclipse happening in Malaysia, on 1st day of CNY? Well, I know but didn't saw it, and I think Malaysians can hardly see it. Because as you can see, the eclipse phenomena, the moon only covered like 1/8 of the Sun. SO LITTLE! By the way, this pic is not taken by me, it's taken by Wah Loon. He's very KENG! Last Sunday, I went to 庙会 . No idea what's this called in English, anyone knows? Anyway, this event will be held anually around the heritage site, Jalan Kapitan Keling to showcase the tradition of Chinese. I Went with Nicholas and Victor.

人山人海，水泄不通. Direct translation : people mountain people sea, water also cannot move. Alot of PEOPLE!

Took this shot while walking,jalan-jalaning. Armenian Street is one of the street included for 文化庙会. I realised this street sign dont have Tamil words, I think the government should put all 3 language as we're multi-racial country. Malaysia have Indians!

Man practising calligraphy, 珲春 . Calligraphy is an art, Chinese started calligraphy long long long ago, and is still practised by students in school today. 你喜欢书法吗？Do you like calligraphy?

Of course, one of the greatest tradition of Chinese long time ago, KUNG FU! Too bad they didn't teach Wing Chun , 永春．

Then went to 状元门。So many 状元s there, each taking a big sign . Why no 中学!? Im in 中学 now, guess 中学 is not qualified haha.

This is the place, where they briefly describe about all the Chinese Ocassions. 中元节，hungry ghost festival on July.

This guy is making Ti Kueh, 甜糕. The traditional Ti Kuih is generally made using banana leave lined tin. That is not all, most of our kuih (cakes) uses banana leaf, coconut and fresh rice or glutinous flour.

Do you know what are they doing? Making kuih perhaps? I seriously have no idea what are they doing. By the way, they are kids/teens participating in KwongWah Newspaper 庙会 activity, it's fun to join activities like this!

Kuala Gula

I followed my parents to Kuala Gula to visit their friends on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. Know Kuala Gula? That forest reserve, that we study in Form 3 Geography.

Well well, forest reserve. Of course it's kampung style life! Don't have to worry bout traffic jam, don't have to worry bout job cause fishing is like the only job there, don't have to worry bout nothing. Thats what they call the relaxing life i suppose? But, I wouldn't want that kind of life. Dont ask me why. Bikes are the main transport there due to the small narrow roads. The road can only fit 1 car.

Right after we reached, we took boat for a ride around the red forest swamp, But go further and its the big sea. Oh and the houses there are mostly by the sea.

This is basically how the houses there looks like. This is a hotel, but I dont think theres tourist coming here. Can try to stay for a night there next time.

These sticks right here is to restrict bigger boats to fish around the area. If not the villagers there wouldn't even earn for a living.

This place is like the place where they film those gigantic crocs movie place. Swampy, muddy. I dont see no croc, I see lizards and monkeys only.

Sunset ON the sea. Ain't it beautiful? I like this shot alot, although its not taken by me haha. Taken by my bro. I've got that "feel" when looking at this pic.
Kuala Gula's a nice place. Especially if youre a seafood lover, you should go.

Me and Merritt went to hike the hill on youth park to take photos. All I can say about that trip is fun! I hope there will be photograph session where you have to climb/ walk a long long way to reach that destination which has beautiful sessions. I will definitely join. Sharing the photos I took that day.

Penang's city skyline. Not much tall buildings like Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, and other high end cities.

I can see komtar in between the trees. Komtar is still the tallest building in Penang , although its not really tall. Just have to climb half way then you'll see Komtar.

If this is a waterfall. Brilliant! Wonderful! Super nice! Sadly its not, maybe it is when it's raining?

Found this coca cola in my refrigerator today. I bought this coke when I was in Thailand. It was there for 24 days ever since I came back from Thailand. I forgot about it! Took a few picture of it before my sis drank it.

It may look big, but actually it is smaller than my phone,when my phone's slider is up,same height with my phone when slider is down! I think thats why people collect Coca Cola cans, because of the varieties of designs and sizes they have.

Khao Luang National Park

I think this is the 3rd time I've been to National Parks,it's in Thailand this time . Don't know how many times I've actually played in a river. Cause it's hard to find clean, unpolluted rivers and waterfall nowadays. Seriously, stop the pollution :)

I climbed and climbed and climbed, to this place. Sorry, no on the way pictures cause Im scared my camera will fall. And the road to the river is very muddy.

Can you see the fish? Cause I can barely see it, because of the colour of the fish. There's alot of them when we feed them.

Rocks, Water, Plants. So close to mother nature.

And lastly, saw an auntie doing Durian Kuih, the old fashioned way. The Durian Kuih is nice. Can't find people doing this the old fashioned way already in Town , I suppose?

Times Square in Hong Kong

Times Square! Know what is it? Been there before? I think everyone who's been to KL before been to our KL Times Square. Actually every Times Square is a shopping complex except for the New York Times Square which is really a big area that consists of alot of nice buildings. I went to Times Square when I visited Hong Kong in Causeway Bay 銅鑼灣.

I noticed a very big difference between KL's Times Square and Hong Kong's Times Square. Big big difference. Everything inside Branded Shops, High Tea places, etc etc. But our KL Times Square. Mostly prangin mall that kind of shops, a few upper levels dont even have shops. The Ceiling also nicer than ours alot lot. I hope our Penang Times Square is good .

Old/Abandoned Ferry Pier

I went Thailand for 4 days, only 3 places is interesting in my opinion. I didn't go Bangkok,Hatyai those city. I went to Nakhon Si Thammarat / Khanom. Ever heard of that? Well, It's boring there. Village style life.

This is Khanom's old ferry pier. The only place that I think it's interesting and have "feel". Great photographing spot in my opinion, but I don't think I took nice shots there. Psst, Khanom's Town has no shopping centres, 1 KFC .

Those are the things on the pier. I have no idea what are their uses. Poles to tie boat, Docking place perhaps?

The Mountains beside the Pier. One thing's good bout Khanom, It's not that polluted.

Say hello to the fishermans! Fishing is a good + efficient way to waste time there perhaps?

Gurney again. Not Gurney Plaza, Gurney Drive this time. Actually is Gurney Plaza with Kenny, and Alvin to go and pay for the Bloggiful Day Gathering which is held last Sunday first then very long didnt walk along the beach already, so decided to stroll along Gurney Drive. Main reason there is still taking pictures.

The famous murky and smelly beach.Thank god the hawker center is opposite it. If not will faint when eating. Lots of mudskippers, crabs, fish eating birds, waste/rubbish there. Didnt get a picture of them, my lens cannot zoom that far haha.

I now bring you all to the new Switch in Gurney New Wing. We're Apple Fans! This new switch here looks somewhat like the Bangkok's Apple Reseller , except the lights. Bigger, better , classier .

Look at those Ipods. Its a wonder in the IT world.

Played on the Mac Pro. Its really a pro both technically and financially. Its 9k for 1 .

Comparing on the old macbook and the new macbook. And they claimed the new macbook has the same weight with the old macbook. Apple FTW.

Another Leo Saturday, Went to meeting at Greenlane's McD for Anniversary. Yeah Anniversary Dinner is almost here 22/11/2008 at Tanjung Bungah Beach Hotel. The dinner is RM38 (included raise funds for orphanage) and its open for public. Come come!

Find him if you wanna learn magic tricks haha. And I just realised magician can really earn alot too(famous ones) a show about 30 mins is RM300,some RM500 depending on situations. We continued our journey to Gurney. Did alot of crazy stuffs there,eventually we got bored and Alvin suggested we go for some photoshoot.

Okay so, continue from the post. This activity is organized by Lions Club of Penang Host. After we reached, we went to gather at a hall . We're kinda late, Penang City members were there already. Theres only 4 CLHS Leos there .

Yeap, its a fun day for The old folks in Silver Jubilee Home. Lots of activity were held during that day. Eg, Singing and stuffs.

They even have eye checking . The old folks are entitled for a new specs if they have eye problems like short sightedness,long sightedness, astigmatism, etc. (i dont think theres anymore eye problems other than those). Carrying those machines and equipments must be alot of hardwork. After that, i just get to know that one of a Lion is a tauke of a optical chain store, Ono. Leos will be given discount if you go there to do specs.

Kenny was the only one who was given paper works. Recording the names of old folks who are given new specs, and their eye problems . The rest of us was given other works. Asking what food do they want, and serving them.

After that, the old folks who were having their birthday on that day was called up to the front. Lions prepared birthday cakes for them and sang them birthday song. Do they look happy? I think they look happy on the inside not the outside. Or maybe, they heard too much of birthday songs and it just doesn't excite them anymore haha.

This fun day was really quite fun. Group pictures as usual before we left the place. Roar!

Visit to SPCA

Leo Club of Chung Ling High School organized a visit + service to SPCA(Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals) in Jelutong. The person-in-charged starts briefing us about SPCA. And because that day was a public holiday,she said she wasnt expecting so many "visitors" and she cleaned the kennels. No service for us. And something caught our attention .

~Okay here comes

Haha! 2 dogs were trying to mate! But unfortunately, the spotted dog was too short. No mating for them. I feel bad for invading their privacy haha. Move on, there sure are alot of dogs in SPCA , all waiting for adoption. Some are cute too. And not to mention, some are FIERCE,RABID the type that will bite the hell out of you if you go in.

Like this place. Its isolated, and the dog guarding was barking like mad. The dogs inside must be much more "crazier"

And heres Chia Yang the dog. Rare species, smart,intelligent. Oh not to mention, he knows how to open the doors by himself. Haha just kidding .

There are T-shirts and souvenirs selling too. To show some love to the dogs, we went in and buy as well. There are even pantyhose on sale. I wonder does dog use them?

And of course, we took a group pic. With the dogs . Since our advisor call us to take pic with them.

After that, me,Kenny, Victor and Chin Keong went to watch Hellboy 2 in Gurney. !@#$! because of this movie, i lost something. Damn suey la that day .

Went to FOYI for a meeting yesterday. The meeting was about the arithmetic competition organised by FOYI for young ages below 12. Leo Club of Chung Ling High School is part of the committee for the project. And i am a committee for the project . haha

The meeting started shortly after we arrived. Its just like a discussion bout what to do that day,bla bla. Counting marks is the job for us cause teenagers like us have better minds and better in calculating!

Reporter is there too. To help us publish articles regarding the competition. We are hoping to get more participants for the competition.We took a group photo before the meeting ends. Is our face on the newspaper!? Anyways, we went to Prangin's Wong Kok for foods after that. I sat at Wong Kok for about 2 hours, then i went home.

Giant footprints ‘found’ in Sarawak village, say reports

SIBU: Is Big Foot in Sarawak? That’s the question now on everyone's lips following the discovery of a pair of giant footprints in a Melanau village in Daro in the Mukah Division, about three hours by express boat from here.

The Borneo Post English daily and its sister Chinese language newspaper See Hua Daily News reported the find – footprints measuring almost 120cm from heel to toe and 43cm from side to side, on their front pages yesterday.

They reported that a local businessman, Tan Soon Kuang, had claimed to have seen the footprints at the village which he declined to identify at the request of the villagers.

“They are clearly too gigantic to belong to any normal human being,” he was quoted as saying.

Puzzling discovery: One of the footprints measuring 120cm from heel to toe that was found in Daro, Sarawak. - Bernama

Tan also said that the villagers had mixed feelings about the discovery.

Some were curious while others were scared, he said.

Nevertheless, he said, the villagers had cleared a footpath leading to the footprints in anticipation of more visitors over the weekend.

It would be “tough for a person to create such marks on the hard ground”, said Tan.

A civil servant, who requested anonymity, said that he had seen the footprints but admitted that it was hard to say whether they were genuine without any scientific exploration.

He said many people had been visiting the village in the past few days to see the footprints.

He also said that in the olden days, the area was used by certain people for solitary meditation in the hope of getting whatever they desired from divine beings.

Jemoreng state assemblyman Abu Seman Jahwie said that he had yet to see the footprints although he had heard of the discovery.

Malaysians were in the grip of Big Foot mania about three years ago after several people claimed to have seen a Big Foot family which had left footprints measuring up to 45cm long in a forested area in Johor. – Bernama

Okay, First of all I wanna say sorry for not updating my blog for so long. Not in the mood of blogging. Well, now im back! I just read this news not long ago.And i think everyone also know about it already. Petrol's price is gonna go up again..

Petrol to cost RM2.70 from midnight (updated)

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Wednesday announced price hikes for petrol, diesel and electricity.

He said the new price for petrol is RM2.70 a litre, effective midnight tonight. The price goes up by 78sen from the current RM1.92, a hike of 40%.

Abdullah also announced that the price of diesel would be increased by RM1 from RM1.58 to RM2.58.

He also said that Tenaga Nasional Bhd would be raising electricity rates by 18% for homes and 26% for business users.

The announcements are part of the new fuel subsidy plan.

Abdullah also announced a RM625 annual cash rebate per vehicle, for owners of private vehicles with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc, as well as pickup trucks and jeeps with engine capacities of up to 2,500cc.

Owners of private motorcycles with engine capacities of up to 250cc will receive RM150.

Payment will be made via Money Order upon renewal of road tax, from July 1.

For owners of private vehicles with engine capacities exceeding 2000cc, road tax will be reduced by RM200.

Owners of private motorcycles with engine capacities above 250 cc will get RM50 reduction in road tax.

Mid-term Exams falls on 12th of May. Which is 1 week from now. But we Form 3s have lots of projects to get rid of,so most people are kinda stressed right now cause we're not like bionic man or whatsoever that can do lots of things in a time. I wish I can be like that,everyone does ?

I still feel like not in the reading mood yet. Thinking about reading so many books gives me the creeps . I dont like studying,obviously =P . But, I hope my reading mood will come soon cause I don't want to flunk my exam again like last time . 3xx/516 is a pretty bad result for me ... Theres nothing much to say in this post . Again, I don't really like studying . All I want to say ..

Lions Charity Fair @ CDK

I'm in CDK for the first time!haha,actually today is a charity food fair and fund raising for CDK organized by Lions Club of Georgetown Centre.Went there because friends are there and to have a look on whats inside CDK haha.And of course Im armed with a camera.Shoot-away~!

Okay so,first thing I went inside.I saw lots of stalls all selling foods and drinks,a large field and a building.(duh?)And it is very hot that day,so my friends suggested to go to a place much cooler,the HALL!And then they already started singing since we're lil bit late.

And then after that,we went to buy cold drinks because of the heat.Really cant stand it.And the stall is the only thing that had fancy pictures,so thought we'd give it a try.But its still the same,nothing speshow.And then guess who we saw in front of the game room...

The hottest thing there! The Haunted House or should i say the Haunted Classroom?Heard lots of screams inside there,we wanted to give it a try but the queue is too long,I got fed up of waiting so only my friend went inside.As expected,he says its lame haha!

We went to the game room too.They had variety of games like throwing rings into poles,picking up marbles using only chopsticks,shoot the balloons.Their prizes are divided into three groups Big,Medium and Small and then each group have a sub-group,A B C D E and so on for you to draw.

Kenny and I played the marble game and the ring game.I get a pencil for mine whereas Kenny got his BIG prize-A notebook with a build in calculator.
After that,I went home whereas the rest went to gurney lepak.

I woke up early today because of the Parents and Teachers' Interacting Day/Results Taking Day.Almost everyone was afraid of this day,but not me!Ok so,everyone who got 20/38 and below in class ranking have to attend this.Mine was 28/38.Last 10th with average of 69.63,sad nia!And my ranking in form was 334/514.As usual,it dropped...
But,before that I started shooting/playing around with my camera in house since nobody was online early in the morning.

And then it was time to take my results.I was late,Siang Lyn called me like mad saying he's pek chek already.Sorry!(If he ever sees my blog).What surprised me the most is that my class teacher actually said im well-disciplined and things.HAHA!

Then,Kenny.RongChen.Siang Lyn went home with me because of Sejarah Project and Sivik Project.

After the projects,Rong Chen played Gunz whereas me and Kenny played O2jam+DotA.And there it goes,another day gone.

CDK's Leo Club Anniversary

Went to attend Convent Datuk Keramat's Leo Club Anniversary on 30th March in New World Park's Old Town Cafe.They rented the whole upper part of the cafe.The traffic condition that day was congested,but still Im the first CLHS Leo to arrive haha.Paid RM28 for it which includes drinks,food(Nasi Lemak/Curry Mee) and a badge.

We had games and things over there.First was a translating game and then the teams who won continue to some sort of eating game.A guy throw a bubblegum and then the other one have to eat it.

Went to gurney after that,boring as usual..met some friends and then went home =)

A man who used to be a woman is five months pregnant, according to an article he has penned for an American magazine that features a picture of him at 22 weeks, with facial hair and a man’s flat chest above his swollen stomach.

Thomas Beatie, a transgender male, defines his choice of getting pregnant “has been met with discrimination and outright derision by health care professionals”.

The article, entitled Labour of Love, appears in the most recent issue of The Advocate, a Los Angeles-based magazine with a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender readership.

Beatie is legally male and lives with his wife, Nancy, in Bend, Oregon. They have been together for over 10 years and wanted to have a child together.

Mrs Nancy Beatie, however, was unable to conceive, having suffered severe endometriosis and undergone a hysterectomy, her husband writes.

So the couple decided Mr Beatie should try to carry a baby.

In the article Beatie says that he underwent a sex change but decided to limit the change to chest reduction and testosterone therapy and not making changes to his organs.

This means that Beatie was a male from the outside but the organs are still those of a female, hence his ability to get pregnant.

After a year, and nine different doctors, Thomas Beatie was able to get pregnant using frozen donor sperm but the pregnancy was eptopic and required surgery.

But a second pregnancy was a success and the couple's daughter is due on July 3, the article states.

Mr Beatie describes the process as a challenge, listing the difficulties they encountered en route, including hostility from doctors to a situation that “sparks legal, political and social unknowns”.

The first doctor they approached “told me to shave my facial hair”, Mr Beatie writes.

“Receptionists have laughed at us. Friends and family have been unsupportive; most of Nancy’s family doesn’t even know I’m transgender”.

“How does it feel to be a pregnant man?” he writes in the article.

“Incredible. Despite the fact that my belly is growing with a new life inside me, I am stable and confident being the man that I am. In a technical sense I see myself as my own surrogate, though my gender identity as male is constant. To Nancy, I am her husband carrying our child. “I will be my daughter’s father, and Nancy will be her mother. We will be a family.”

In the article, Mr Beatie says that to neighbours in “our quiet Oregon community”, he and his wife “are viewed just as we are - a happy couple deeply in love.”

Canada’s National Post said an editorial assistant with The Advocate confirmed it had verified the pregnancy with Mr Beatie’s gynaecologist. She added that the photograph of the pregnant man was Mr Beatie.

The Beaties, however, refused to give the Post further details, citing deals with American media outlets. “It’s a big deal and we want to be able to tell our story,” the Post reported Mrs Beatie as saying.

“We’d love everybody on board as long as they’re understanding and are going to tell our story and not their own.”

Okay,firstly sorry for not updating for so long.Been quite busy nowadays.21st of March,my school was having the Annual CrossCountryRun.It's annual because every year also have this event(I know Im talking crap! HAHA!).Okay,so reach Youth Park at 7.20 and then the run starts at 7.40.Instead of running,me and my friends walked.

Co-curricular Seminar

Went to attend co-curricular seminar by our school on Monday and Tuesday.This is my 2nd time there because I lost my freaking Certificate!Suffered 2 days from BOREDOM again!The talks are damn sien,I almost fell asleep everytime they talk.And worst..I forgot to bring my camera there,so have to take pics using my phone.I hope I'll pass this time cause I dont wanna go there again!

YE Achievers' Workshop Take 2!

Okay..so, we were called to group together with PCGHS in the room for the workshop.First, we had IceBreaking.We did a survey kind of thing and then we had to find people to sign for us who had things in common for us.It was kinda fun =).After that we were called to split into groups according to the number on the back of the "survey" paper.My group was group 6.
Move on..we had workshop 1 which taught us what is the role and things..

Today we went to USM for YE Achievers' Workshop, basically it just tells you what is YE..what is the role as a BoD and lots more.Its fun!Every schools that have YE went to the workshop and we found out that only our school have form 3 YE Achievers.Special eh?Haha!
So,I went to school this morning at 7.10a.m and then Rong Chen and I went to take our breakfast at the Char Bee Hoon(Fried Vermicelli) stall just beside our school.Lots of people say its good,but to me its just ok-ok..just a normal Char Bee Hoon. And then we waited like 20 minutes outside for the bus to come.

Jumper

Yesterday,went to New World Park's Old Town for a meeting for the Leo Orientation Camp.Makan,makan .. talk talk liao everyone started to take pictures.But,I forgot to bring my camera,DAMN!But,Im still in the pictures though =P

After that,everyone decided to go Gurney and watch a movie.And the movie we watched was Jumper!

Its a movie about a guy who can teleport. He can go anywhere he likes,thats fun! I want that power! haha! And then theres this Paladin thing who hunts the Jumpers.His mom is a Paladin too,shocking.Loads of action,some scene of laughters.Overall,It's a good movie..definitely worth to watch! =)
I went home right after that because I have dinner at night.Missed the chance to touch Apple's Macbook Air =(

A great start of February..

Last friday,after school..me and Chin Keong went to OneStop/Midlands searching for sponsor for the SightFirst project(If you dont know what is it,you can refer to the 2nd last post,theres linkie there =D).Ok so,we reached OneStop at around 5..the first destination we went was ChanKongChan Optical,that time theres so many customers inside,we decided to wander around OneStop.After walking around + playing around..we finally have to chance to talk to the shop manager,she already agreed even though we havent finish our "talk" haha! so good! After that..we decided to find more shops,

England optical..not a success(needs to ask HQ =.=)

Puppy Love

Ever heard about puppy love? I don't like it either.. Love is like a wave, it's unpredictable and dangerous.. Some people just don't care about it.. They go in it like it's a highway. Relationships build slowly, you can't really rush it.. Some people just don't understand and do stupid things, even in public.. Then after a while, they start not talking to each other and the relationship just ends.
It's just an issue that I wanted to voice up to my friends, PLEASE don't go through it like that.
